The School of Shiatsu and Massage originated more than 30
years ago. It was established in 1979 as the Niyama School of
Healing Arts and then changed names and ownership in 1985,
when it was purchased by Harold Dull.
In June 1994,
the School changed ownership to the Worldwide Aquatic
Bodywork Association (WABA). In January 2008, the School
changed ownership to the Bodywork Career Institute LLC
(BCI) Since its inception, the School of Shiatsu and
Massage has been at the forefront in training land and aquatic
bodyworkers, and now offers the largest selection of aquatic
classes in the world. Our three primary aquatic modalities -
Watsu, Waterdance, and Healing Dance and our main land
modalities Therapeutic massage, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Thai
Massage and Energy-Active Craniosacral - are all State
approved.
