Alexis Lee ties

relaxing atmosphere. Alexis is an accredited

certified Aquatic Bodyworker and Zen Shiatsu

Bill Anderson is
a CMT, HHP (Holistic Health Practitioner), Watsu
Practitioner, and practicing Reflexologist. He was
introduced to Reflexology in 1969 at which time he
began a self study program. In 1990 he started his
professional practice after studying with Dwight
Byers and other teachers from the International
Institute of Reflexology. Bill is on the Massage
Therapy teaching staff at Trinity College in San
Jose, CA. |

Cameron West,
CMT, has been uniquely involved with Watsu for 14
years. From the beginning of her training it was
her strong belief that Watsu could be used as a
valid therapeutic modality for the reduction of
pain and muscle re-education. This belief and
passion has led Cameron to become one of Watsu’s
strongest advocates and a well-known Instructor of
Watsu. It is Cameron’s intention to provide her
students with a creative, wholesome environment
for learning to increase core awareness, and an
opportunity to explore a deeper spiritual attitude
towards Health. |

Carlisle
Douglas, MA, CMT, maintains a full-time
massage therapy practice in Arcata, CA. Primarily
clinical in her approach to bodywork, she
incorporates muscle energy techniques, positional
release, myofascial release and deep tissue
techniques in a Swedish style massage to
facilitate injury recovery, chronic pain
management and proactive health maintenance.
Carlisle applies her 20 years experience as an
educator to creating a learning environment that
is fun, comfortable and nurturing. Her courses
facilitate the intellectual learning of massage
theory, technique and anatomy while encouraging
the application of intuition, creativity and
personal style. By focusing on concepts, as
opposed to routines, students develop the skills
to think independently about how to best address
clients’ unique needs. Carlisle is vigilant in
coaching each student to adopt excellent body
mechanics and injury prevention measures to ensure
longevity as a massage practitioner.

Diane Tegtmeier,
MSW, NCTMB, and Certified Watsu Practitioner has
explored healing work from the perspective of
social work, massage, energy work and Watsu
practice over the last 17 years. This has given
her the opportunity to work along the full
continuum of physical, emotional and spiritual
human process - in talk and touch. Before that her
understanding of relationships was grounded in
studies of physiology and ecology. Diane’s
teaching experience includes anatomy/physiology,
personal growth and healing workshops and graduate
social work instruction in loss and grief. With an
appreciation for the necessity of ethical
guidelines, she brings warmth, humor and reverence
to what can happen when we try to live them in day
to day practice. |

Harold Dull, BA,
MA, is the president of the Worldwide Aquatic
Bodywork Association, and the creator of Watsu,
Tantsu, Co-centering and Watsu CQ. Harold has
trained with the foremost Zen Shiatsu teacher in
Japan, Shizuto Masunaga (author of “Zen Shiatsu”),
and the two foremost teachers in America, Reuho
Yamada and Wataru Ohashi. The profundity and
effectiveness of the bodywork forms he has created
reflect his passionate practice and deep
understanding of energy and the body; the
creativity of these forms reflects his background
as a poet in the San Francisco Renaissance. His
current book “Watsu: Freeing the Body in Water” is
an eloquent testament to the power of both his
writing and his bodywork. Harold speaks several
languages, which allows him to teach his work all
over the world. He has been honored with the
International Aquatics Award from the United
States Water Fitness Association; honored at the
National Aquatic Exercise Conference in Japan; and
in 1998 received the Tsunami Spirit Award from the
Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute. |

Inika Spence is
a Watsu and Healing Dance instructor. She has been
an aquatic bodyworker since 1996, working at
Harbin Hot Springs as a Watsu, Waterdance and
Healing Dance practitioner. She has over 2000
hours of training in aquatic bodywork. Inika
brings grace to the water and conveys this grace
to her students through her deep knowledge of
movement in the water. Her work has been
influenced by Yoga, T’ai Chi, dance and
meditation. Inika is able to impart the joy of
movement and gentle touch to her students in an
easy, flowing environment. |

Jim Gilkeson,
BA, CMT, CST is a creative bodywork therapist,
teacher of energy healing and the author of
“Energy Healing: A Pathway to Inner Growth”. In
his private practice, Jim combines subtle energy
therapy with cranio-sacral work and therapeutic
massage. His background in meditation and
spiritual practice and his love for experiential
learning have made him keenly attentive to the
developmental and initiatory dimensions of
bodywork and energy healing. His teaching style is
warm, personal and fun, reflecting his passion for
inspiring students to find their unique qualities
and callings, as well as for teaching solid
principles and practices of energy healing. |

Kat Stenvers,
Watsu Instructor, has been a committed bodyworker
for many years. She has a background in Watsu,
Shiatsu, and Jahara® Technique, and holds
certificates as personal trainer, health and
fitness instructor, Pilates instructor and Yoga
instructor. Kat’s gentle and loving nature make
her a patient and much-loved Watsu teacher. She is
a mother of three and currently lives in Sedona,
Arizona. |

Keesha Standley,
CMT, CSBP, YBRI, has been teaching Massage since
1996 in California and Australia. She is a warm
and lovely human being whose understanding of
bodywork and gentle approach make her a superb
teacher for beginners as well as the experienced.
She lives in Sacramento where she maintains her
own private practice in Massage and Craniosacral
Balancing and teaches Massage and Yamuna® Body
Rolling. |

Linda deLehman
has a degree in Interdisciplinary Social and
Behavioral Sciences. She has furthered her
education with studies in holistic health,
hypnotherapy, body/mind courses and oriental
medicine. Linda is a Certified
Hypno-Anesthesiologist, has owned a private
business and has worked as an acupuncture and a
Chinese pharmacist assistant. She has extensive
studies in WATSU, Wassertanzen and other
Sub-Aquatic bodywork techniques. Since moving to
Switzerland, she has repeatedly assisted and
co-taught with Harold Dull in California, Hawaii,
Italy, Belgium, France, Spain, Brasil and
Slovania. In 1997 she became the WABA European
Coordinator. Linda currently resides in Italy
where she teaches WATSU level I, II and III,
TANTSU I and II, and Inner WATSU (Sub-Aquatic
Experience) in five different languages, in
various European countries. |

Pam O’Dea RMT is a
Canadian Registered Massage Therapist (R.M.T.) who
graduated in 1991 from Sutherland-Chan's two year
massage program in Toronto. She has been living in
California since 1994 and specializes in a hedonistic
blend of therapeutic and relaxation Swedish massage.
Since 1999 she has been sharing her love of Hot Stone
Massage with clients and teaching this powerful
technique to therapists in San Francisco and in Canada.
She founded the Touch Lifting Community (TLC) Program in
San Francisco which provides complimentary massage for
public school teachers. |

Richard Bock, Aquatic
Bodyworker, CMT, is a well-known practitioner of Watsu
and Waterdance, and has been teaching at the School of
Shiatsu and Massage, where he received his training,
since 1992. His work is characterized by constant
attention to the client’s breath and by an extraordinary
ability to connect profoundly with each client on both a
physical and energetic level. Richard has been teaching
meditation since 1978 and considers giving Watsu and
Waterdance sessions his spiritual practice. He is also a
longtime practitioner and of Jeru Kabbal’s Quantum Light
Breathwork, and brings its principles into each of his
classes. Richard’s teaching style is warm, personal, and
a direct extension of his being - a combination of
childlike joy and deep, passionate connection. |

Shantam, BFA,
Certified Aquatic Bodywork Therapist and Instructor, CMT
and Master Hypnotherapist (Institute for Advanced
Hypnosis and Somantra Institute for Body-Enlightenment),
has a rich background in the healing arts and a profound
passion for Aquatic Bodywork. She believes that the
water itself, through Watsu and Waterdance can actually
empower each of us to recognize and embody who we are.
Her teaching is a testament to that belief. With a
gentle, compassionate presence and an innate, intuitive
ability to communicate from the heart, Shantam offers
enthusiastic support, insight and a wealth of personal
experience to anyone wishing to learn more about this
work in the water and about themselves. |

Shinzo Fujimaki, MS,
BS, Cert. Shiatsu instructor, has been teaching Shiatsu
at the School of Shiatsu and Massage since 1992 and at
several massage schools in Hawaii. He was born in Japan
and learned the art of Shiatsu at an early age,
massaging members of his family. He demonstrated a gift
for healing, and thus his path of study and career.
Shinzo is also a longtime student of Aikido, and he has
integrated the discipline, training, and philosophy of
Aikido into his Shiatsu practice - creating a rich and
full healing experience within the context of massage.
His continuing education in Oriental medicine also
includes the study of acupuncture and therapeutic herbs.
Shinzo likes to describe himself as “all fire”, and his
deep spirit and sizzling passion fill every class with
meaning, power and humor. |

Spirit Savage- After
graduating in 1989 from a 500 hour massage therapy
program in the Bay Area, Spirit Savage created her own
private practice and began her journey as a successful
entrepreneur. She has taught others the art of massage
therapy and how to run a private massage practice or
gain employment in the industry for over eight years. A
person dedicated to having fun in the classroom while
learning marketable skills, Spirit believes strongly
that life is a journey of learning and has continued her
own education in massage therapy, amassing over 2000
hours of class time. Spirit's other areas of expertise
include, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Anatomy, Kinesiology,
Sports massage and injury rehabilitation. She is
currently working towards her 1000 hour certificate in
aquatic bodywork. |

Theri Thomas brings
years of teaching experience in many related fields to
this work. Her focus is balanced full spectrum
presentation with emphasis on building a strong
foundation of fundamentals and principles to draw from
so the student can easily integrate additional classes
and self-discovery of the work. |
