Forecast
Spring (mid Feb-mid April)
The days can be beautiful, warm and sunny but cooling off
at night. Be prepared for possible showers and mud.
Summer (mid April-mid Sept)
Very warm with peaking temperatures
in June, July, August over 100 degrees. Prepare for a more
desert climate mid-summer with little chance of rain. Perfect
for camping out.
Fall (mid Sept-mid Nov)
You never know if it's rain or shine,
be prepared for a variety of possibilities.
Winter (mid Nov-mid March)
Rainy, cold and windy mostly. Sometimes we'll get graced
with a clear sunny day. Not the best time for camping outdoors,
but rarely freezes. Snows once or twice a year.
Call the school for up-to-the-minute weather situations,
but remember that our mountain weather patterns have a spirit of
their own... enjoy!
