California Residents: add $2.50 per class ($5.00 for a 100 hour class). This is the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) fee (see explanation at bottom of page)*

Class Fees include a deposit of $100 for 16.5, 25 and 50 hour classes, and a deposit of $200 for 100 hour classes. The deposit is not refundable if you cancel 14 days or less before a class starts

Class Fees include indoor or outdoor camping, meals, snacks and access to Harbin Hot Springs facilities. For more information, please see our Accomodations and Catering pages (please note that classroom facilities do not have a student-accessible kitchen). Required text books, class manuals and supplies are not included in the Class Fee. These can range from $10 to $100 per class. You will receive a registration confirmation email or letter detailing these items and costs. If you plan to purchase a textbook in advance of your class, please check with the School to confirm which edition the class will be using.

Final Payment is due at least two weeks before the class begins. By then, you will have received a registration confirmation notice listing the total amount due, minus the registration deposit. You must contact the School to make this payment:

  • By phone or email to authorize final payment to the credit card you used for Online Registration.
  • By phone to authorize final payment to a different credit card. DO NOT email credit card numbers.
  • By mail to send a check or money order. DO NOT send cash in the mail

If you register within two weeks of a class, you must authorize final payment at the time that you receive your registration confirmation notice.

If the School has not received your Final Payment on time, you may be cancelled from the class and your deposit is not refundable.

50-hour Land classes (Sunday-Friday)

o    Arrive at Harbin after 12:00pm Noon, Sunday

o    Class building is available after 6:30pm, Sunday

o    First class session is 7:00pm, Sunday

o    Class sessions continue Monday through Friday

o    Class ends 12:00pm Noon, Friday

o    Depart Harbin by 10:00pm, Friday

50-hour Water classes (Sunday-Friday)

o    Arrive at Harbin after 12:00pm Noon, Sunday

o    Class building is available after 6:30pm, Sunday

o    First class session is 7:00pm, Sunday

o    Class sessions continue Monday through Friday

o    Class ends 12:00 Noon Friday

o    Pool is available for practice until 5:00pm Friday for registered students 

o    Depart Harbin by 10:00pm, Friday

100-hour Land classes (Monday-Thursday, 11 days)

o    Arrive at Harbin after 8:00am, Monday

o    Class building is available after 12:00pm Noon Monday

o    Lunch is 1:00pm, followed by first class session

o    Class sessions continue Tuesday (through the weekend) and following Thursday

o    No class on Sunday. This is a Practice, Study and Rest day

o    Class ends 4:00pm Thursday

o    Depart Harbin by 10:00pm, Thursday

25-hour weekend classes

o    Arrive at Harbin after 12:00pm Noon, Friday

o    First class session is 1:00pm Friday

o    Dinner is 7:00pm Friday

o    Class sessions continue Saturday and Sunday

o    Class ends 4:00pm Sunday

o    Depart Harbin by 10:00pm Sunday

16.5 -hour Weekend Classes: Land, Water, Basic Watsu

o    Arrive at Harbin after 12:00pm Noon, Friday 

o    Class building is available for setup and sleeping after 6:00pm, Friday 

o    Self-serve Soup, Salad & Snacks are available beginning 6:00pm Friday

o    First class session is 7:00pm Friday

o    Breakfast is 7:00am Saturday

o    First class session is 8:00am, Saturday 

o    Class sessions continue Saturday and Sunday

o    Class ends 4:00pm, Sunday

o    Depart Harbin by 10:00pm Sunday


* STUDENT TUITION RECOVERY FUND (STRF):

You must pay the state-imposed assessment for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if all of the following applies to you:

  1. You are a student, who is a California resident and prepays all or part of your tuition either by cash, guaranteed student loans, or personal loans, and
  2. Your total charges are not paid by any third-party payer such as an employer, government program or other payer unless you have a separate agreement to repay the third party.                                

   

You are not eligible for protection from the STRF and you are not required to pay the STRF assessment, if either of the following applies:

  1. You are not a California resident.
  2. Your total charges are paid by a third party, such as an employer, government program of other payer, and you have no separate agreement to repay the third party.

 

The state of California created the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) to relieve or mitigate economic losses suffered by California residents who were students attending certain schools regulated by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.

  

You may be eligible for STRF if you are a California resident, prepaid tuition, paid the STRF assessment, and suffered an economic loss as a result of any of the following:

  1. The school closed before the course of instruction was completed.
  2. The school’s failure to pay refunds or charges on behalf of a student to a third party for license fees or any other purpose, or to provide equipment or materials for which a charge was collected within 180 days before the closure of the school.
  3. The school’s failure to pay or reimburse loan proceeds under a federally guaranteed student loan program as required by law or to pay or reimburse proceeds received by the school prior to closure in excess of tuition and other cost.
  4. There was a decline in the quality of the course of instruction within 30 days before the school closed, or if the decline began earlier than 30 days prior to closure, the period of decline determined by the Bureau.
  5. An inability to collect on a judgment against the institution for a violation of the Act.
